Camping~Mt. Hood

When grandma and David were here we were able to all go camping on Mt Hood. It was kind of cold and a little rainy but we were well prepared for it. The kids loved having some extra company in the campsite and Jason and I were able to go out in the kayaks by ourselves which we have never done.

Chase and Bryce loved running around the campsite. I was always looking for Bryce so it was a little stressful but there were a lot of eyes on him so that was helpful.
So somehow somebody got a fishing line stuck in the tree? Every.....year.
David was so excited to take Chase fishing for the first time. They were so cute and had a great time. No fish though.
We love Trillium Lake. This was the lake Jason and I kayaked. It's so peaceful and calm.
                                                Walking around the campsites
                                                         Bryce loves wagons.
It was raining this morning so, we were hanging out waiting to see if it would stop so we could do something.

These kids...are the best little campers. Really, they don't know what true camping is (hence the trailer in the background) however, they never complain when we're out in the woods and we really cherish these experiences with them.
